Remembering Zaha Hadid

Ted Jacob Engineering Group mourns the loss of Dame Zaha Hadid, the world renowned Superarchitect. Zaha, who was named as the first sole woman to be awarded the UK's highest honour for architects in her own right in 2015, received the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) 2016 Royal Gold Medal, which is given in recognition of a lifetime's work and is approved personally by HM The Queen of the United Kingdom. Zaha was appointed a Dame of the British Empire in 2012, received the Pritzker Prize in 2004, and her practice also took both the 2010 and 2011 RIBA Stirling Prizes. She was a visionary and unparalleled in her design abilities, the” Queen of the curve”. Her legacy lives on through her works and within Zaha Hadid Architects. Our sincere and deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and team. She will be deeply missed by all.
