Dubai Tower Doha

Qatar

The 84-storey Dubai Tower Doha was the winning entry in a 2004 international design competition. It was the striking tower form that the Client was initially drawn to and every effort was made to stay true to this original concept. The Client’s aspiration for the project is that the building represents itself as a beacon for Dubai in Doha, Qatar. Dubai Towers Doha is a true mixed-use development, locating the various elements in order to bring all the functionalities and end users together while providing appropriate privacy. With the combination of hotel, serviced apartments, offices, residential apartments and retail space, Dubai Tower Doha seeks to create a high-end luxury development where occupants can truly live, work and play.

The intricacies of the architectural design, the different permutations of the serviced and retail apartment mix, merged with requirements of the retail end-users, the project included a blend of different usage types of the spaces each requiring its own unique utility requirements. Ted Jacob Engineering Group in constant consultation with the Client and hotel operator provided a sustainable, energy conscious and cost-effective engineering design for the structural, civil and building services.
