Le Meridien Hotel at Doha is an elegantly proportioned and remarkable 50-storey tower that provides 77,500 m2 of built up area. The slender tower is both bold and graceful, rising 230 m above the ground and provides 249 keys of hotel rooms and suites and 66 serviced apartments within a ground site area of approximately 3,000 m2. Also provided are 2,100 m2 of retail and food and beverage facilities and 1,300 m2 of ballrooms, function and meeting facilities. The 900 m2 LM spa and health club is located on the 31st to 33rd floors and a 500 m2 Sky Lounge and Terrace is situated at the top of the building. Both have spectacular views out over the city. Structural, mechanical and electrical engineering design services were provided by RMJM Engineering, Dubai — now part of Ted Jacob Engineering Group (TJEG).
